LA LAKERS

Something I admire about Luke is that he always has positive things to say about the team. He really does give off the impression in his post game interviews that when away from the cameras and with the team, he is a very caring coach that sees the big picture (go see the post titled "Big Picture") and that he believes in our guys. I think we could all try to emulate that when we come to this sub to love our team.

Last season we had 17 wins. We already have 15 and it's January, you would have to agree that it's an improvement. After getting to .500 and it being outside of a joke like 2-2, the hype train started going because we all know that Laker success finds a way. It was a decent record, but it was honestly a very best case scenario, and those don't happen every time. But what is happening now is still a good scenario. We are getting more wins than we had last season and our young guys are getting minutes and experience including our young coach. Was this not the plan the whole time? You know we could be where the Nets are right now, nothing was guaranteed to us. If the Lakers went where the hype train expected them to go Luke Walton could possibly be coach of the year and guys younger than 23 would be superstars out of thin air. Yes we have lost win-able games, but glass half empty: Lakers fucking suck omg being a fan sucks so much rn I'm not going to watch the games anymore, call me when they start winning AKA let me know when the wagon is coming by. Glass half full: We have had so many games at the point of being win-able if just some tiny important things went differently. It is frustrating because we really want to see the Lakers win, but if we can get so many games to be win-able at the very very beginning of the rebuild, it wont be long until we are actually winning those. If a team can win more win-able games than they lose, to the point of it being expected, they are probably a top seeded team. That is not where the Lakers are right now and we know it. If you look at where we are, it is exactly what we expected to happen before we got our hopes up. Which is a good thing because we Laker fans usually expect good things.

There are so many Laker greats, and look what we have in our history. We have the FUCKING LOGO. We have WILT. We have MAGIC. We have KAREEM. We have SHOWTIME. We have SHAQ. We have KOBE. WE HAVE THE THREE PEAT. We have Kobe putting up Jordan numbers, motha fuckin KOBE NUMBERS! We get a good trade and oh what? WE GOT KOBE WITH 2 MORE BITCHEEEES BACK TO BACK!!!! WE HAVE MOTHA FUCKIN 16 BIAAAAAAAAAAAATCH. I think we can stand to give the young guys a little more time because if we count 2010 as a pivot number we still have time to get a championship in every decade, and for the last two decades we like to get them back to back so hopefully that carries on. But for now let the boys play god dammit! And if you hate this shit so much stop posting with such hate, because your shit is bumming me out
