LFR podcast recently talked about what type of players we need to be championship contenders. They a quick athletic defensive SG and a mobile defensive Big man. Who do you think fits the bill?
Players from the draft, outside in the league or players we already have who can work into that role and are I guess quasi available.
In depth:
Sg: is the guy who takes the load off Russell so he doesn't have to guard the best defender, he has great side to side athleticism and doesn't necessarily great offensive skills but can get by or let his defense make up.
Pf/C: Great perimeter defender and can shift his feet well, and can get up in down the court well. Doesn't need plays written for him and most likely just gets lobs and dunks. Personally I'd want him have some skill passing big to big similar to gasol and Bynum connection.
Edit:it's really just to spitball names to put on the wall then think about if it fits and is possible after the fact. I'm trying to work it out in my head myself p.
