Alright guys hear me out. I realize this trade is more than unlikely but I wanted to see what everyone thought about it. With LaVine's recent season ending injury (ACL tear requiring surgery) I was thinking that now might be a good time to poach a quality young talent from the T-wolves. The wolves are only about 4 games out of the 8 seed right now so this trade could benefit them if they decide they would like to make a late push for the postseason.

Heres what I envision. We trade Lou Will and Swaggy for Zach LaVine and possibly Brandon Rush. What the Wolves get: A seasoned vet at the SG position in Young who provides scoring as well as some improved defense. Another savvy vet who would provide potent scoring off the bench as well as the veteran leadership that Thibs is seeking. What the Lakers get: A young guard with loads of potential who can grow with the core and is more of a sure thing that a potential draft pick this year. We could possibly also get Brandon Rush in the deal depending on how they value Lou Will and Swaggy. If we did that would provide a decent filler at the SG position this year and a solid back up at the position next year when LaVine returns. Thoughts?
