I may seem crazy for proposing to trade our best player. But here's why I believe trading Lou will be the best for the team.

1. We will lose our best scorer and arguably our best player.

2. He has won us many games, by bringing us back from scoring droughts, and by simply being on fire.

(Now this may seem bad, but in the next points I will try to explain why it wouldn't.)

1. Lou is great scorer, but he makes our offense worse. How does he do that ? Well he plays mostly for himself, and doesn't get the offense going. When he's hot, he does his stuff and wins us games, but when his shot isn't falling, we're just giving up on better and more efficient plays.

2. He doesn't get the rest of team involved, so the players that play with him, are not getting enough touches, which is important for players who are developing.

3. We rely to much on him in the 4th, again this isn't good, as Lou won't be part of our team in the future, so let our young core take decisions and learn from their mistakes. At one point they will have to carry our team.

4. We might get a mid first rounder, and considering how our front office is finding talent, we could get another great player.

5. He would have the opportunity to play in a playoffs team, so we aren't sending him to Nets or something like that.

I really like Lou, but sometimes we have to do what's best for our future.
