I think Mark Walter, Magic and the Dodgers ownership is going to buy the Lakers.
Today it was announced that the Dodgers's ownership is going to try and sell a minority stake in the team and have engaged an agency in order to do so. We already know that Magic is back.
What if Magic coming back isn't just to restructure the management of the team but to start the process of selling the Lakers to Walter and his group. They've made offers in the past and they have the money to do so. Offering minority ownership in the Dodgers seems like a way for them to get enough capital to make a big purchase.
