Don't get me wrong he plays solid D but I was just hoping for more of a menace on defense kind of like dennis Rodman or Metta. Especially with how he's shooting I'd expect him to let his defense create easy scoring opportunities. Do you think he'll be like that eventually or is it personality thing and he just doesn't play like that? It makes me wonder if Metta is in his ear teaching some things like how he gets steals just by poking the ball out the defenders hands as they pass by from behind. It's funny once Metta came to the Lakers I saw Kobe do that same tactic on a regular basis. But anyways I just think Ingram should just say fuck it and play defense with reckless abandon and let your defense lead to offense. You got a 7'4" wingspan and you move like a gazelle so get into the passing lanes and beat everyone down the court and try to get some easy layups.
