Kobe on SAS Show
Friday, January 20, 2017 by Quick Cash
Highlights:
- He likes the game right now because he thinks the players are going more towards being competitive instead of being "friendly"
- We haven't heard anything about him wanting to be a coach or an owner because Kobe is a teacher. He wants to help everybody just get better at the game of basketball through different platforms because he likes telling stories.
- Kobe's watched a handful of Lakers games, not too many.
- He thinks Luke's doing a good job, but needs patience. With young guys, they need to teach the system, but within the system there's a bunch of other options. So they need time
- If the Lakers contacted Kobe to get more involved, he's always welcome to help. He's not someone who's front and center about it, but he likes being behind the scene. He's always one phone call away from the Buss Family.
- He's not super up to speed on what's going on with Phil and the Knicks, but cites that looking at history to just weather the storm with Phil
- Westbrook's going to come ready to play the ASG regardless of being a starter or not
