LA LAKERS

To start off, I wasn't a real fan during the championships but a causal fan. I didn't start actually watching every game until we had started sucking pretty badly (the offseason when we got Randle), so for a lakers fan who's only seen us suck, i figured I'd remind you all

• The Lakers are way, way, way better this season. The only issue is that the whole league got better too. Don't forget how much better we've gotten because we lost close games, considering last season we had just as many wins by the end.

• The 10-10 start, alongside the likelihood that we can, even still, get that 8th seed has messed up the original projections we had in the summer. Luke increased our expectations and when they came back to reality - the fans flipped

• Choose your fucking scape goat. If it's Randle, don't switch to D'Lo then back to Randle, to JC then B-Sleepy back to Julius. Or maybe, just critique the players in a justified manner instead trying to trade them right away aka be loyal. Don't be homers but don't be dicks.

• Stop asking for Hinkie or the tank. We get what your personal belief is but there's more then one way to be a "modern GM". Look at Utah, and compare them to the league. Even if we lose this year's pick, we get next year's (iirc somebody -Jojo? - said that 2018 is a more big man oriented draft) but why wouldn't you want the core to win and let Mitch make smart moves - like José Calderon - and keep trying to be the best we can

• Speaking of the 76ers, didn't we go 10-10? Besides, better to have realistic expectations then to end up like the Suns (with Blesdoe/Dragic/IT) or the Blazers.

• The franchise said the goal was growth, overall, and we have achieved that. The great thing about Lakers fans is we want greatness from the players. Julius got better, JC got better, and D'Lo did too. Shoot, look at Black/TRob/Larry all playing better than - at least than I - expected.

Also unrelated but can we just sticky a trade/draft post so we don't have to read the same Markelle/Lonzo and JC for Noel trades posts.

Again, sorry for the shit post but I just figured I'd remind us all that we all should still love basketball.
