Secondary goal for the season: Literally nothing else

People on this sub took the hot start, ran with it to act like we were a playoff team and now are basically calling for the who team to be blown up because, oh look, we're not really a playoff team.

DLo is still a second year player, first year in a system, first year without Kobe. Same for Randle. Same for Nance. JC has a had his role flung about 3 times since coming into the league and is still the unquestioned steal of his draft class for anyone not named Jokic.

Our team's plan is too long term to be this reactionary after a bad stretch in a season that ultimately doesn't mean shit - we're not gonna be sitting around in 2025 looking at the 4 new banners talking about 2016/17 season's ups and downs. Long term development isn't immediately apparent on court, and assuming we're not getting the top 3 pick, where we finish is almost entirely irrelevant to the long term success of the team - our future depended more on 2014/15 and 2015/16 being tank years.

Just sit back, enjoy the journey, something we've basically never seen as Lakers fans, - this core's prime is gonna be 2020-2025, a couple streaks here or there in a year where nothing matters isn't gonna change shit
