Now that my blood pressure has normalized....

I'd like to echo another user's post: We are fine. In fact, we have a blindingly bright future. We have a plethora of youth unrivaled (not an exaggeration) by any other team in the league. This team is like a metaphorical child--at times it will frustrate, and aggravate you, because you can see its potential just waiting to be unlocked. But we also have seen the flashes of brilliance. And it is utterly undeniable that as time has gone on, these flashes have become more and more consistent.

And without a doubt, eventually, they will no longer be flashes, but a sustained style and caliber of play. The real reason we are all so tormented at the moment is because we saw what this team could do; we saw the potential for the first ten games or so. And now, we are seeing the growing pains. So I will leave you all with this--relish the immature, precocious and unpredictable bunch for a year or two to come. They will grow. And soon, the smoke will clear, and we will all see this team full-force, accessing that potential we saw in Houston the night our season tipped off.

Viva Lakers.
