Calm down

I'm not making this post to say we're a young team and to be patient. Fuck that young team excuse. When I look at our roster I don't see a playoff team, bottom line. This team has many holes to fill and is incomplete. Our main problem is obvious, defense. Even though I like every player on the team, none of them have been known to be good/great defensive players other than deng(maybe Nance). I never expected this team to be competent defensively because they have no lockdown defender (clamps) and no rim protector(sorry moz). This team probably won't become significantly better on that end. Most people talk about potential of our young players but potential is not what we need. This team needs to start working together. I love our squad, but sometimes I see them playing and I feel like they don't like to play with one another. They seem like they enjoy each others company off the court. The problem is when they're competing its almost like they play against the opponent, but also themselves. They'll see someone who's wide open and won't trust that person because they trust themselves more than their teammate. What I want is for the guys to develop chemistry on the court. Concede to the right play as opposed to trying to make it happen individually. Basketball is a team sport and not even Jordan or Kobe could win a title without the help of their team. I wish the young guys could see this post but they won't. I hope Luke is encouraging the team to truly buy in and play together. It doesn't matter who's the best/alpha. Only winning matters in this league boys. You're not out there trying to raise your draft stock. Play as a team
